Since the age of 14, I have gained diverse part-time work experience in various roles. At McDonald's, The Burleigh Fruit Shop, and Merrimac Tavern, I honed my skills in food and beverage preparation and sales, efficiently handling customer interactions and financial transactions. Furthermore, at ACT Logistics, I worked with a team to sort old military technology, committing to 8-hour days, Monday to Friday. Additionally, my love for sport is displayed through my commitment to basketball, as my passion has opened numerous opportunities for both paid and volunteer roles in coaching and refereeing. As a coach, I have guided teams ranging from Under 9's to Under 15's, mentoring young athletes to enhance their skills and teamwork. These experiences have significantly strengthened my leadership and communication abilities, as I have learned to motivate and manage diverse groups of players, encouraging their growth and enthusiasm for the sport. This multifaceted involvement in basketball has not only nurtured my love for the sport but has also equipped me with valuable life skills applicable both on and off the court.
