I started in residential heating & air conditioning as a teenager in high school through a co-op program trying out different potential careers. From there I learned the basics of system operation and installation, after one semester and being hired on for the summer I attended George Brown college for two years where I earned my G2 gas fitters license and a diploma in air conditioning & refrigeration technologies. Once I graduated I returned to residential before deciding it was time to challenge myself and move on to larger more complicated equipment. Over the course of the next 15 years I spent time working in varying areas of the refrigeration trade such as supermarkets, commercial hvac and large cooling systems learning how to size, install and service these complex systems. Today I'm excited by the evolving refrigeration trade and the challenges it has in store for me.
