Supervisor for the Department of Public Safety's (DPS) Mobile Audio and Video Recording (MAVR) Equipment team within the Office of the Commissioner/Public Information Request and Research Unit. Serves as the subject matter expert on body-worn camera and dash camera public record requests.

Fulfills sensitive, complex, and high-level public information requests involving in-depth research and analysis assigned to the Department of Public Safety’s (DPS) Public Information Requests and Research Unit (PIRRU). Responsible for complex and difficult research projects, and reviewing records, data, evidence, and other items to ensure that DPS lawfully fulfills public information requests.

Conducts research as a part of the Injury Prevention Unit within the Division of Public Health’s Section of Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion (CDPHP), a division of the Department of Health and Social Services. Independently identifies, acquires, and analyzes data from multiple injury data sources to inform statewide injury prevention initiatives.Performs complex technical work in accordance with standard research methods, to support the Injury Prevention Unit surveillance projects and public health injury prevention efforts.

Conducts crime analysis, investigative support, research, and data aggregation on behalf of the Department of Public Safety (DPS)/Alaska State Troopers (AST)/Alaska Information Analysis Center (AKIAC)/High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).Represents the AKIAC and DPS/AST at interagency briefings.Participates in a Task Force environment with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Anchorage Police Department (APD), and other law enforcement agencies in the state of Alaska.Accepted as instructor the Foundations of Intelligence Analysis Training program.

Contributed to the Colorado Information Analysis Center's (CIAC) terrorism prevention mission through the analysis of open source information and the production of counter-terrorism intelligence.Created threat assessments of events in Colorado to provide state and local law enforcement with situational awareness.Collaborated with senior analysts to produce longer term intelligence projects.Worked in an interagency environment with partners from state and local law enforcement, the FBI, and DHS.

Coded narrative data from the U.S. Department of State’s Trafficking in Persons Report into binary data for use in the Human Trafficking Center’s Human Trafficking Index. Assisted in developing the Center’s coding scheme for the index project.Served as an assistant trainer for new coders.
