Tyler Mazereeuw is an executive with over 20 years of diverse experience focused on revenue growth, creative partnerships and innovation in the sports and entertainment industry. He's held senior roles across properties, agencies, and brands, including CFL, IMG, Molson, and RBC. Recognized as an industry thought leader and one of Canada's “Top 5 Under 40” winners, Tyler’s strategic and creative approach to people, possibilities, and profitability has established him as a leader at the intersection of sports, business, technology, and marketing. Most recently, he served as the Chief Revenue and Marketing Officer for the Canadian Football League, leading the revenue and marketing strategy across broadcast, sponsorship, digital advertising, licensing, tickets, brand strategy, fan engagement, social media, and marketing. Tyler was instrumental in positioning the CFL for long-term growth by modernizing fan engagement, evolving partnership models, and unlocking new revenue streams aligned with the evolution of fan behaviour, data and personalization in the sports industry. His big-picture thinking, relationship mindset, and relentless focus on revenue growth generated several firsts, including the first-ever presenting partner of the Grey Cup, New Era’s first North American on-field jersey partnership, the creation of CFL Premium Experiences, the league’s first sports betting model, and the development of the CFL national advertising network that optimized asset value, sell-through, and profitability. He negotiated multiple league-wide seven-figure jersey patch partnerships, signed a transformative US broadcast rights deal with CBS Sports, and a step-change data and technology equity partnership with Genius Sports, a global leader in sports data, betting, and media, aimed at growing the CFL’s presence globally. Tyler also led the creation of CFL Ventures, CFL+, the league’s first streaming network, and drove innovations like virtual signage, player wearables, AI content creation, league-wide brand architecture, and personalized fan experiences that drove fan engagement and revenue through premium advertising, and sponsorship dollars.Prior to the CFL, Tyler held roles focused on sponsorship, business development, advertising sales, and driving six-, seven-, and eight-figure partnerships with regional, national, and global brands in hockey, soccer, golf, basketball, motorsports, lacrosse, and action sports. He served as the National Chairman of the Sponsorship Marketing Council of Canada and founded the SMCC Activate Mentorship program in 2016.
