Key Responsibilities:- Assist with course preparation and instruction under the guidance of the faculty, including grading assignments and exams, and conducting small group discussion sessions.- Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation activities, including reviewing and updating course materials, developing new content, and assisting in the development of assessments.- Assist in the coordination of clinical placements and preceptorships for students, including maintaining communication with clinical sites and preceptors, tracking student progress, and helping to resolve any issues that arise.- Provide academic support to students, including offering one-on-one tutoring, study groups, and other academic resources as needed.- Assist with research projects and other scholarly activities related to the NP program, including literature reviews, data collection, and analysis.- Attend departmental meetings and training sessions as required.

Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive care to patients with orthopedic injuries and conditions, including pre-, intra- and post-operative management.- Conduct thorough patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to optimize patient outcomes.- Collaborate with Bariatric surgery team and nurse coordinator in the care of mutual patients- Perform procedures such as wound care, joint injections, and splinting as necessary.- Educate patients and their families on treatment options, medication management, and injury preventionsSkills:- Proficient in performing comprehensive patient assessments and developing evidence-based treatment plans.- Strong knowledge of orthopedic conditions and injuries, as well as surgical procedures and post-operative care.- Skilled in performing procedures such as wound care, joint injections, diagnostic ultrasound, and splinting.- Proficient in interpretation of diagnostic tests: x-rays, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and serum lab work. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and educate patients and their families.- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.Committee: - Current member of the Orthopedic and Spine Quality Improvement Committee- Coordinate nursing education with nurse navigators
