I entered The University of Iowa as an English and Dance major. After two years, I changed to Mechanical Engineering and Dance. While at Iowa, I spent six months living and studying in London. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, and a minor in math. I went straight into the work force in June of 2015 at Epic Systems where I currently work. At Epic, I work on developing, implementing and supporting back-end interfaces that communicate patient and health information between software systems. The years have gained me experience in project management from large enterprise software installs to smaller add-on projects. I have also managed a team of developers in the creation, enhancement, and support of a documentation and tracking website used by analysts supporting our main software.
