I consider myself a Designer first. I could talk for hours about design and how it is so much more than aesthetics! Although there are many facets of design (UX design, Web design, UI Design, Graphic design, Print design, Branding, etc) which I have experience with, I believe that good design is a process no matter what media it is being applied to. In addition to calling myself a designer, I have picked up several other skills over the years. I have experience with Web Development (HTML, CSS, Javascript, Wordpress, PHP and jQuery), Online Marketing (PPC, Content Marketing, Social Media), SEO, Google Analytics, eMail marketing (Mail Chimp), Project Management (Agile Methodology, multiple PM softwares), Team Management, Business Strategy Development and Client Relations Management.I believe my biggest strength is my Critical Thinking skills. When presented with a project, the most important steps are right at the beginning. Understanding the entirety of the problem; what the stakeholders want and need (sometimes this leads to discovering things the stakeholders aren’t even aware of). Being able to ask the right questions to uncover the best solutions is sometime more difficult than the implementation of the solution itself.
