As a Capstone Senior Design Project, worked as a member of a university team on a mini baja buggy that would compete against 120+ universities and organizations worldwide. SAE provided an atmosphere where the buggy was tested in several different events. These events were Acceleration, Hill Climb, Maneuverability, Rock Crawl, an Endurance event, and a Sales Presentation. The buggy was also required to pass a strict tech inspection where regulations and attention to detail were important. Personally led the drivetrain component of the team to help see the project from start to finish. The buggy finished top 25 among all teams in the Hill Climb event.

Worked on the weapon design team of the Utah State University Battle Bots team. Worked on a vertical spinner design that was powered by an electric motor and a belt-pulley drive. Also helped with aluminum sub frame to interface weapon to main body. Competed for the first time in USU history and placed in the semi-finals for our weight class.

Worked in Solidworks to design custom timber structures for homes and businesses. Became familiar with building plans and nomenclature behind blueprints. Participated in meetings with clients to solve problems and ensure quality of company product.
