I grew up in a family very involved in the volunteer fire service. I grew up in a very small town where most people were either a member or a proud supporter of the VFD.While growing up, I worked continuously on farms and ranches. I learned how to operate as well as do maintenance on equipment at a young age.As a young agriculturalist, I was very involved in The FFA with various projects. I did receive The LoneStar FFA degree. This involvement is what pushed myself for a degree in Agriculture.I worked in the oilfield and electrical industry, as well as a few other jobs, while in college.After graduating with a degree in Agricultural Services and Development I went to work for the Texas A&M Forest Service. I served in many roles for the forest service. I was an emergency responder, planner, liaison, and most of all the face for the Forest Service to the region that I served.Now I am the Field Supervisor and compliance manager for Jarco Harvesting. The company runs a grain harvest operation, a cotton picking operation, and a trucking operation.
