Student-at-Law at the law firm Burns Associates. I commenced my articles on June 1, 2012 and officially completed my articles on April 5, 2013. Upon completion of my articling term I continued working for Burns Associates until May 26, 2013. I worked in multiple areas of the law, including but not limited to, Corporate, Civil Litigation, Wills & Estates and Real Estate.

I worked with the National Youth Council of Malawi (NYCOM) as an intern through the Centre of Property Studies at the University of New Brunswick. During my internship my focus was writing proposals and concept papers for project funding, helping to create an monitoring and evaluation system for the organization registered under NYCOM and to assist in launching various NYCOM initiatives. During my internship I also assisted at Kauma Village school. At the school I assisted in reviewing there accounting practices, and assisted in revising certain practice to meet the standards required by international aid agencies. In addition I worked with fellow interns in creating extra curricular activities for the children at the school.

I fulfilled the role of a Personal Banking Officer from July 2007 until January 2009. During this time I reviewed clients personal financial portfolios with a focus on assisting in areas of lending, investing and day-to-day banking. I was licenced as a mutual fund sales representative through the Institute of Canadian Bankers. I fulfilled the role of Customer Service Representative from January 2009 until August 2009. During this time assisted customers with there day-to-day banking needs and completed customers financial transactions.
