As a Senior Superintendent for K2 Construction, I am responsible for supervising and coordinating commercial building renovation and finish-out projects for corporate and medical office buildings. I work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all build-out and construction elements meet design and project standards. I am responsible for developing and managing construction project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures. I also manage on-site construction staff, building material deliveries, and job site safety compliance with city and OSHA regulations.

As a superintendent, I led projects and managed teams and assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, sub-contractor and supplier coordination and supervised and coordinated the daily activities of field personnel, sub-contractors, and assistant superintendents. I managed construction operations for commercial projects such as hospitals, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, and universities, including allocating and tracking budgets up to $109M. I served as the point of contact for client stakeholders and oversaw all aspects of field work, including quality control, OSHA safety compliance, contractor management, and zoning regulations. I coordinated with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project goals and timelines were met. I oversaw the procurement of construction equipment and materials, coordinated deployment to work sites, and negotiated pricing with vendors to reduce expenses.

I assisted superintendents in planning and supervising activities for multi-million-dollar commercial construction projects including method of construction, efficient manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and equipment inventory, temporary facilities, work schedules, documenting labor hours, and OSHA compliance. I provided superintendents with timely submittal of logs, reports, invoices, and timecards, and review of submittals, dimensions and constructability. I also maintained project planning and scheduling procedures with the company’s scheduling software.
