-Oversight of building platform engineering disciplines as they relate to the building design as an assembled product-Leadership for product design engineering structure and process management-Develop and lead the integration of innovative product solutions that compliment the vertical Katerra strategy-Leadership for defining and documenting product requirements and all design engineering deliverables-Lead the effort for design methodologies, database structure, and documentation requirements that support the transformation of buildings designed for optimized downstream manufacturing and construction processes-Contribute and support the development of new design engineering software tools for both product engineering and manufacturing transition (CAD/CAM)-Transform the integration with architects, building engineering, and construction experts coming from a traditional AEC environment-Establish cross-functional development teams to implement new technologies and methodologies, while balancing the real-time requirements around launching revenue generating building platform products.-Develop product engineering solutions and a road-mapping process for continuous improvement-Support and interface with supply chain, manufacturing, and construction teams to assure design engineering requirements are understood and delivered as part of a structured product development process-Lead engineering function with respect to new technology knowledge, awareness, and IP integration into the product.

Delivers projects from conception through the building opening and handoff to facilities. The DPM acts as the lead to deliver the project/products on time, on budget and surpassing customer expectations. Essential Duties & Responsibilities• Overall quality, budget, and schedule for the project• Act as lead point of contact for the project and provide effective leadership and management of cross disciplinary team for multiple projects• Keeps the team inspired to meet and exceed project goals • Complete process oversight of the project teams• Establish and maintain projects controls for projects including schedule, budget, risk mitigation plan, action log, and contracts • Work with other Katerra function to ensure the projects are properly resourced through internal and/or external means• Significant involvement in project during feasibility, design, and manufacturing to develop project scope, budget, and understand and track design and manufacturing requirements• Own project communication with project team and across Katerra to ensure clarity and consistency of deliverables• Significant involvement during Construction to insure construction completion, proper project closeout.• Lead project gate/milestone reviews and QC reviews • Generate and continuously maintain project reporting data for reporting to upper management• Works with various departments to drive new initiatives and provide continuous improvement for project delivery

Projects:-Commercial Office Campus in Silicon Valley, CA, USAIntegral part of the mechanical design team, participating continuously in the stages of Design Development to Construction Documentation. The project consists of a main building, restaurant, theater, fitness center, central plant, and parking structure. It provides a diverse offering of services to its occupants thus covering a wide range of commercial building design. Assisted with the general design of all buildings within the project. Was especially instrumental in implementing Revit Modelling and coordination between disciplines. Took specific ownership for the development for the design of the Industrial Design Studio that posed significant challenges to fit highly specified equipment within a ‘typical’ office space.-GM Cruise & Lyft Palo Alto Automated Car FacilitiesLead a multidisciplinary team on both projects to develop an engineering “Basis of Design” incorporating the needs of the client’s end user groups. Oversaw design build contractors during permit/construction for the office, specialized labs and garages serving the automated car teams. -UC Berkeley Chiller Replacement Served as project manager and lead mechanical designer for a complex chiller replacement at the UC Berkeley Valley Life and Sciences Building.-Splunk Santana Row Served as the project manager and lead mechanical engineer for a multidisciplinary team on a 6-story 234,000 ft2 commercial office building fitout for Splunk in San Jose, CA. -Abu Dhabi International Airport, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (Worked from Bristol, UK)Working as part of a team in collaboration to review and complete design calculations on a massive international airport. Utilized technical and organizational skills to help supply an efficient process to calculating and documenting the team’s work. Specific concentrations include energy/load modelling, pressure drop, psychrometric, and system diversification calculations.

Performed on site quality checks and surveys.Aided in the duct and pipe design for a pharmacyclics fit out in Revit.Drafted details.

• Integral part of a team that is designing a commercial multi-billion dollar campus in Silicon Valley• Performed calculations, helped make design decisions, ran energy models, and provided BIM support• Gained significant knowledge of energy efficient and sustainable design (net-zero project goal)• Helped facilitate interdisciplinary coordination and learned its importance in the design process

• With supervision, I designed the mechanical system for a Neurosurgery Lab renovation (Demo and New Work)• Participated in client meetings and the completion of field observations• Planned and drew the schematic design, Construction Documents, and the initial Addendums under supervision• Learned the Commissioning process through participation on several jobs• Helped in the commissioning of a $120 M Hockey Arena, Several Projects on a Hospital ($460,000 to $15 M), and Several Projects on America’s Center (in St. Louis)• Developed skills to understand how HVAC controls work and are interconnected, as well as implement them

• Wrote RFI’s and updated plans• Shadowed superintendent, accrued experience in solving design issues and building/renovating commercial buildings• Estimated additional masonry services on high school to help negotiate a 50% price reduction• Gained an understanding of business relationships and how to manage/improve them• Contributed to the successful preconstruction tasks and bidding of a project
