I currently work as a Vitrified Design Engineer. I am focused on improving the overall manufacturing processes and design of each part that goes through our production. Interested in implementing new systems and excited to help develop standards that will take the company to the next level.

Responsible for meeting customer requirements for the manufacturing of surgical instruments and implants or instrument delivery systems from receiving raw material to the shipping of finished goods. Supports and enforces the development of internal systems and procedures to meet ISO standards and FDA quality system regulations. Develops and implements inspection/validation techniques necessary to verify products meet requirements at earliest point in the production process. Specifies and implements new inspection equipment and instructs others in its proper use. Supports and implements systems in the areas of SPC, advanced quality, and design/development.

• Designed fixtures and new tooling that was implemented into many different types of manufacturing and assembly processes.• Worked with gages, engineering blueprints, work instructions, work centers, and machined parts to determine if our products, as well as products from our vendors, met the standards of Hendrickson and our customers. • Teamed up directly with Lead Engineers to improve the many different processes at Hendrickson through the use of engineering analysis, design simulations, and capability studies of new implementations.

• Worked with various types of materials. • Used heavy machinery such as a Saw Mill, End Mill, Surface Grinder, Forklift, and CNC• Assembled a variety of fixture plates according to a specific customer’s standard.
