As a Supply Chain Associate at Potbelly, I manage daily logistics tasks, including inventory assessments and ordering. I’m responsible for maintaining optimal stock levels of meats, cheeses, and vegetables, while also analyzing truck orders to ensure smooth store operations. By anticipating inventory needs—whether three days or a month in advance—I’ve gained valuable experience in planning, forecasting, and problem-solving. When challenges arise, such as undelivered trucks, I take a proactive approach to resolving issues and ensuring timely deliveries to meet customer expectations. In addition to my hands-on work experience, my involvement with the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) at ASU has significantly contributed to my preparation for the industry. Through SCMA, I’ve collaborated with industry professionals and peers at networking events, gaining insights into emerging trends and best practices. Participation in workshops and case competitions has sharpened my skills in logistics, procurement, and operations optimization.Beyond academics and professional development, I’ve embraced new opportunities to expand my network and take on creative challenges. I’m currently contributing to Canned Goods Clothing, a venture led by my friend Easton Dana, by assisting with advertising and marketing. I’ve also rekindled my passion for sports by joining intramural soccer, and I’m excited to explore more athletic pursuits next semester.
