My name is Tyler Spidell, and I am currently studying for my bachelor’s degree in marketing at Clemson University. I was born in Toronto, Ontario, and relocated to New Brunswick before I could remember. I was raised on the East Coast of Canada and will forever call it home, but my family moved to the deep South just after I turned 11. It was a culture shock that definitely required some adaptation, but I am thankful I was able to experience something other than what I was used to. Here I developed some Southern tendencies like saying “yes ma’am” or “no sir”, alongside a love for college football!I attended three different high schools in South Carolina in pursuit of athletics, which helped me develop strong social skills that I have carried with me to Clemson and look forward to utilizing in the future. I have been employed ever since I have been able to drive myself to work. I have also dedicated myself to working in different industries in an effort to increase both my knowledge and my experience. This has left me with lasting friends and connections, and I can’t wait to see what they aspire to in the future! I am set to graduate Clemson in May of 2021. I spent my four years at Clemson working toward a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a minor in management, while also playing club lacrosse for Clemson and maintaining a close connection with my father who was the assistant coach.
