Becoming a mom many people told me I wouldn't have time for my education, having a life or anything besides being a mom. I'm here as proof to tell you that you can. They coincide, being a parent you need to have routine, structure, and patience. Those same ethics apply to software developing. A goal I have is to inspire parents to apply some of those parenting skills to coding and you'll see it is possible. I always had a love for technology from a young age playing on my mom's old desktop/ Nintendo ds/ iPhone (1st gen), to getting my first laptop. It wasn't until I became an adult and I learned how they run, how applications are created, coding and what it's uses are. I myself thought the same, "I have kids I don't have time", "I have a job already", "I can't afford to go" until one day I stopped making excuses and did some research and found The Tech Academy and enrolled in the Software development course and from there I took off. Now I have created projects using HTML, CSS, JS, Python, API from a simple tic-tac-toe game to creating a fully functioning recipe web page.
