I am currently practicing as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for ABA Support Services, LLC to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients who have been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and/or other comorbidities. I support clients in multiple settings such as home, school, and community. In addition to providing direct therapy to individuals, I also support their families and caregivers with learning the interventions for skill acquisition and behavior reduction which are based on evidence-based practices. As a supervisor, I provide training to Behavioral Health Therapists (BHT) to implement interventions from a client's treatment plan with fidelity and support their progress with meeting goals and improving overall quality of life. My experience as a Service Coordinator/Employment Liaison at Pathways to Housing PA provided me with the privilege of serving individuals who experience chronic homelessness and mental illness in Philadelphia. My training in trauma informed care, substance abuse, and motivational interviewing have been an asset to supporting this population. My goal during this position was to improve quality of life and ability to live in an independent setting. Working with the Community Inclusion Department (CID) as an Employment Liaison I have had the opportunity to connect participants to low barrier work force positions transforming daily lives into functional, productive, and fulfilling routines. My belief is that through service and reintegration in the community we can reclaim lives and end homelessness. I have a background in Research from my education at Temple University where I graduated with my Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a minor in Neuroscience. During this time I worked as a Research Assistant screening participants who may experience Boarder Line Personality Disorder (BPD) in a study examining Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED). My job responsibilities included obtaining participants through outreach in the community, phone screening, administering surveys, providing compensation, updating data/records, and communicating progress with the research coordinator.
