I am a Darke County native having attended Tri-Village schools and growing up in New Madison. I attended college for my bachelors in education at Ball State University and will receive my masters in educational leadership from the American College of Education in August, 2024. I have spent the last 11 years teaching, coaching, and volunteering in Darke county schools, primarily at Ansonia where I have taught for the past 9 years.In my role as an educator I have taught primarily world History to freshmen students. I have also taught health, Technology, and college credit Psychology to students ranging from 7th to 12th grade. Since starting at Ansonia I have served as the head coach for our Quiz Bowl Academic team and the JH boys track team. During my time at Ansonia I also served as the head boys bowling coach for 7 years ending in 2022.My wife (Megan) and I have been married for nearly 15 years and live just north of Greenville. Megan is a resiliency coordinator and works with at risk students in the Dayton school district. We have a son (Theodore) and a daughter (Helena) on the way.
