Prior to Launching LinkX I spent the better part of 2 decades consulting with and managing fleets on behalf of traditional transportation companies and those that had fleets as a by-product of their core business. We first got into fleet management at the request of one of our Berkshire Hathaway clients. After saving them millions of dollars by moving away from full service leases to owning their vehicles, they asked us to manage the fleet.We soon found ourselves going from one software solution to another just to find how fragmented & outdated each solution was. This led me to take a deep look into the various roles & processes that needed to take place within a fleet operation to provide a fluid solution for the drivers, fleet and operation managers all the way up to the c-suite: executives or owners of the companies. A solution that would mitigate risk, provide efficiencies, stay ahead of DOT & compliance, and ultimately provide a true cost per mile across the entire fleet. Allowing one to intelligently operate & manage a fleet.After exhausting all options & coming up empty, we knew that we only had one choice, develop our own proprietary software platform to intelligently manage our clients fleets while providing detailed analysis and reporting. Enabling our clients to make the best educated decisions for their fleet operations. After utilizing our software to successfully manage fleets across many different industries, we saw the opportunity to help other customers solve their fleet management pain points by licensing our software. We see great companies thriving at their core business but struggling to effectively manage fleet operations and deliver products to their customers in a cost effective way.
