Responsible for P&L leadership of Aerojet Rocketdyne’s Defense Business Unit. The portfolio includes new and legacy products in the tactical weapon, missile defense and strategic systems market segments.

Tyler Evans is Vice President of the Rocket Shop, Aerojet Rocketdyne’s (AR) defense advanced programs organization committed to innovation and excellence. The Rocket Shop's mission is to develop a pipeline of integrated, affordable technologies for next generation products in the strategic missiles, tactical weapons and missile defense segments, including propulsion, power and armaments. The Rocket Shop is also working to define and develop new, adjacent opportunities to expand AR's capability and presence in the defense market.

Responsible for defining, developing and implementing strategies to meet international customer requirements in more than 30 countries for Pratt & Whitney's Military Engines division. Requirements included international offset obligations.

Responsible for leading the P&L's execution of contract requirements for the F119 engine in the F-22 Raptor and the F135 propulsion system in the F-35 Lightning II.
