As a Storage Consultant, I was responsible for helping customers with their moving and storage needs. In the office we focus on group strategies, developing plans and executing them with guidance and advice from our superiors. With my role in the office, I was also in charge of completing the "end of the day" administrative work; which includes, dispatching, daily reports, and arranging City to City Moves.

As the Yard Supervisor for BigSteelBox, there are numerous daily tasks that need to be completed to ensure our BigSteelBoxes cleanliness and quality. At BigSteelBox we pride ourselves on having the cleanest containers in the industry to store your home belongings, project materials or vehicles. BigSteelBox Edmonton being a Yard Terminal, we are in charge of supplying the other Alberta stores and Saskatchewan stores with their stock. With being a Yard Supervisor I must ensure that all containers are WWT (Wind & Water Tight) and rodent proof. If a container comes in with a puncture we would then weld the puncture until the container is of BigSteelBox quality.With container maintenance, we also ensure on keeping our yard as clean as possible for a safe workplace and efficient yard operations. The Yard Supervisor is responsible for sending the best quality containers out of the yard. This could include; Rentals, Sales, or Stock Transfers to other yards.
