Music is the greatest force for Good in my life. I was a singer as a kid and picked up Horn in middle school (French Horn, but there's nothing French about it). I fell in love with performing, but I didn't think it was a practical career, so I went to engineering school. Long story short, that was not for me. I promptly moved to my alma mater, SFASU, to pursue music and the rest is history. Almost.In grad school, I was inspired by arts administrators and their unceasing work to keep the music playing on stage. I knew that if I wanted to have a real positive impact on the world of music, admin is where it would happen. I am fascinated with the "behind-the-scenes" efforts that are necessary to create music, and I live for the satisfaction of knowing that I helped bring joy to my community.
