Regulatory Compliance Specialist with a four year background in U.S. environmental regulations, specializing in hazardous waste. Trained to assist Client/companies to maintain compliance for both Federal and State requirements pertaining to Safety and Environmental Management Systems (SEMS), U.S. Coast Guard Inspections, Spill prevention planning and management, etc. Project Coordinator for Level 1 Topside surveys for E&P companies.Developed project guidelines and standard operating procedures based off of API standards for Level 1 Surveys.Work with engineers on facilitation of initial hazard analysis on oil and gas facilities; including reviewing SAFE charts, safety slow diagrams, and P&ID’s. Gulf of Mexico experience, specifically involved in working with a team, for a third party ECP audit of over 40 locations on environmental water handling issues in 2013 and 2014. Assessment included all things involving NPDES permits and regulations, as well as drainage and proper equipment evaluation. Visited 100% of offshore locations; reviewed regulatory documents with operators to check that they were in compliance with regulations as well as perform compliance walk down of each facility. Developed and wrote the extensive report for the client to give to BSEE and EPA.
