I have always been highly motivated throughout my experiences as a student and employee, as I find purpose and meaning in everything I do. As a student, my primary focus is education, and I seek to expand my purpose beyond just earning credits.My life has been full of curiosity, particularly about how things work. I find the mechanics behind technologies fascinating, such as aircraft turning velocity into lift and engines turning fuel into mechanical energy. My mindset enables me to identify opportunities that others overlook. This is evident through the various projects I engaged in while growing up. I have a strong interest in different technologies, but I am also aware of the critical challenges that the world confronts every day. I am at my most productive when I am involved in solving significant problems that result in tangible improvements. Whenever my efforts substantially impact an issue, it motivates me to take on new challenges. My skills are developing as a student at the University of Utah, where I am completing courses relevant to operations and supply chain careers. My understanding of data analysis and information systems has significantly improved, as reflected in my grade of over 90 percent in BCOR 2020, a class at the David Eccles School of Business that covers these concepts and Excel usage. I have also developed strong collaboration skills, evidenced by my grade of over 90 percent in BCOR 2040. Currently, I work as a fuel attendant at Smith’s Food and Drug while managing my studies. There are continuous changes in fuel center functions increasing efficiency. The most important responsibility of a fuel clerk is ensuring that the till count is accurate and reflects daily operations. I am continually working to improve the process of counting the till, for swift and precise results.
