I work as a Project Engineer on a variety of different projects including data analysis and visualization, workforce optimization, continuous improvement, strategic planning, project management, process documentation, and more. Here are some of the projects I have worked on:▶Developed and refined a report using Power BI and incorporating 50+ key performance indicators (KPIs) from Customer Service to Human Resources to Capital Investment. Produced the first version of the report in 1 month with no prior experience using Power BI.▶Designed a splice model that predicts the daily natural gas demand for the system, replacing an existing simple linear regression, improving model accuracy by 40% and saving $250.000 annually. Also created an automated workflow to provide these predictions daily to stakeholders.▶Integrated APIs into workflows in Power BI and Alteryx to allow data to be refreshed automatically, including APIs from NOAA (weather), SurveyMonkey, EIA (natural gas prices), and ArcGIS.▶Provided optimal staffing recommendations for field employees by forecasting daily workload and simulating various staffing levels and shift schedules. The recommended staffing levels reduced the mandatory overtime by 70% while only increasing the overall labor cost by 10%.▶Defined requirements, collaborated with IT, conducted testing, and documented workflows on two projects, streamlining processes by eliminating manual forms and reducing email correspondence.

After program changes, next year’s participants had 20% more energy savings.▶Engineered an Excel worksheet template using VBA and Data Validation to reduce data entry errors and automatically transform data so it can be ingested into another software, saving 10 hours a week.
