Starting my career pursuing a passion for Flight, I spent 2 years attending Sault Colleges Aviation Technology course. After realizing that although flying is still a passion that i hold, commercial aviation is not something that i would actually want to pursue. After taking a shine to my new position as a barista at Starbucks I was nominated for Partner of the Quarter, and frequently nominated for Barista of the week. I enrolled at Mohawk College for a 3 year Associates Degree in Computer Technologies, where I am still currently enrolled. I became proficient with Java, C#, ASP.NET, SQL and using SQLExpress and numerous Web-based languages. In school I developed a passion for web development and design, learning basics of UX/UI design and best practices for web-design, to build on a full-stack skillset to design and deploy streamlined websites from front-end, to back-end. I received my first career opportunity as a part of the Digital Main Street project with Communitech, where I am currently still working as a UX/UI developer. I am continuing to grow and learn every day, learning new skills in digital marketing and web design.
