Project Alianza is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to closing the rural learning gap in Latin America, particularly in Nicaragua and Guatemala. We tackle educational disparities through community-based and low-tech solutions, including training local mothers as educators and developing offline literacy tools like the AnGo app. Our initiatives improve literacy rates, school retention, and parental engagement, disrupting the cycle of poverty and promoting social mobility.My Role at Project Alianza:- Designed and managed educational programs for underserved rural communities.- Revamped data collection and reporting using Google tools and Salesforce CRM.- Recruited and facilitated training for a large group of local educators in Guatemala from a team of trainers from Nicaragua, fostering a collaborative environment across borders.- Built strong relationships with community leaders, local governments, and international partners.- Implemented rigorous monitoring and evaluation procedures to measure program effectiveness.- Engaged with academic and business leaders to refine methodologies and expand program reach.- Developed innovative solutions to address challenges in resource-limited settings.My work at Project Alianza has focused on improving educational opportunities for children in rural Latin America through community-led initiatives and low-tech solutions, driving long-term social change.
