About: Driven and determined manufacturing engineer. I graduated from Vermont Technical College with a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering, and an Associates of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I am extremely determined in being the best that I can be and this applies to my studies, and hobbies. I was honored to be able to take on my studies doing what I love, and specifically focusing on areas of CNC Machining, Lean Manufacturing, and Quality and Assurance. In the meantime I focused diligently on my academics and was blessed with four consecutive semesters of Dean's List Honors to finish my education.Previous Work Experience: Manufacturing EngineerI am a Manufacturing Engineer in Cavendish, Vermont. My daily functions are process improvement coupled with a project management focus. I routinely find areas of waste in our current systems and drive them out of the process utilizing Lean and Six Sigma techniques. In my current job, I am split 50/50 serving as both a Quality and Manufacturing engineer. Upon receiving new business, I will align the customers' quality criteria with the assembly line I design. Customer satisfaction is my primary focus, ensuring the products I oversee produced have few to no returns. I have developed my skills rapidly, applying both information I gathered from schooling and from my workplace mentors. Hobbies and Interests:3D Printing- I can often be found tinkering around with my 3D printer printing masks for Covid-19, or gadgets for the house which better align with a 5S workspace. Learning new skills- I am completely infatuated with the complexities and intricacies of Lean Six Sigma and I love to learn tools and theories from successful individuals. I enjoy making my house a more Lean environment and building upon my skills from home. Mountain biking- It is quite typical to see my bike in the back of the truck. I will usually ride the mountain at the end of a day in the office.
