Hunterdon Cardiovascular Associates (HCA) has given me the opportunity to accomplish my goal of becoming a health care manager. At HCA I have been given the opportunity to help coordinate Walk with a Doc, a national program that encourages healthy activity to reduce the consequences of sedentary lifestyle. In addition, I manage all physician and mid-level credential files, recovery and breakdown of Current Procedural Terminology for all providers, and help market HCA and the Vein Institute of Hunterdon through social media postings. In the near future I will be processing more Full Time Equivalent data for the practice as well as Relative Value Units for their providers. As HCA's supervisor of off-site storage, I am currently developing standards in order to reduce storage costs.
