As one of the first engineers to join DevZero, I spent most of my time stabilizing the platform and crafting features that would scale 10x to account for the first wave of customers. I sought balance between speed and stability, shipping features and platform improvements quickly but carefully.- Lead database standardization effort, creating internal libraries for unique identifiers and user authorization (authz)- Implemented OpenAPI for REST services, automating client creation for upstream teams- Automated build, testing, and deploy processes for internal and external (client) services, along with database migrations- Implemented metrics and alerting for key services, reducing downtime and improving the engineering on-call experience- Lead key discussions around service architecture, with a focus on clear, detailed documentation
