While working two jobs and 58-hour weeks . . . How would I be able to socialize and meet new people? Lunchtime was set aside to get out of my comfort zone and learn more about my coworkers, their families, and what was important to them. How could I improve my Spanish? I brought flashcards with me so I could work on learning new words when I had a free minute. How would I meet my goal of working out every day? You bet I tossed my mom’s dumbbells in the trunk only to work out in the dance studio parking lot while waiting to drive the kids home. And yes, there were plenty of weird looks shot my way.Time is one of the only things you can’t buy and can never get back, so I don’t waste it. I am purposeful in all that I do to meet each goal set before me. As a leader, I thrive when I train and develop employees because I teach, correct, and empower each individual. I am rooted in my values, which allow me to set high standards and act with complete integrity. Because I have such high expectations for myself, I want to work for a company with high values.
