So, you are reading my summary. Of all the fantastic things to be read online, I hope reading my profile can be just as interesting. The other day I was cycling up an extremely difficult mountain on the south end of Salt Lake County. Every muscle in my body hurt from the previous 45 miles of riding. Half way through the climb I could not help but think “why did I decide to climb this, is it worth it?” There are so many times in life where it would be easy to turn around and head back down the mountain, or go around the mountain altogether. Persistence has been the guiding principle of my life. When presented with a challenge such as cycling up a mountain or completing a complex system design document I have always found joy in the climb. It’s easy to say if I can just complete this one project then things will be good. For me the joy is in working on the project / climbing the mountain. I have completed two masters’ degrees, one in Information Systems and the second in Business Administration. Despite my apparent love for torture, the skills I have learned have helped me to be a better employee. My goal is to make myself a valuable asset to whomever I work for. I am extremely goal oriented, and will work as hard as possible to achieve those goals. I have a high technical understanding as well as the skills to work with people.
