Member of a skilled team responsible for enhancing and maintaining the Bank's in-house software systems. Worked directly with stakeholders - often senior management - to design and develop solutions that address the changing needs of the Bank, whether it's to support a new product or to comply with a new regulatory requirement. Strove to automate as many processes as possible in an effort to help the Bank realize maximum operational efficiency. As a more senior developer was also responsible for managing our change control board, mentoring developers, performing code reviews, planning releases, researching new technologies, and prototyping architectures.Sampling of projects in which I played a lead role:- developed an 'engine'​ that determines the appropriate risk weight treatment of various asset types used in monitoring capital adequacy for Basel II compliance- scaled daily processing capacity to support our bulk finance program, allowing the Bank to grow from a few thousand facilities to hundreds of thousands- automated compliance testing of new lending transactions- developed a highly flexible multi-tiered rule-based internal risk rating framework for rapidly deploying new rating systems- constructed a module for managing treasury assets (securities portfolio, external cash accounts, swaps, etc.), giving the Bank a more complete real-time view of its total assets in a single application- automated daily liquidity monitoring mechanism, allowing management timely visibility of its cash flow - automated general allowance provisioning model generation, previously a tedious manual exercise- built functionality that allows the Bank to syndicate portions of loans and free up capital
