By 2009, Toy Bliss shifted operations entirely over to an ecommerce platform, closing its last retail location.Today, I hand-pick offerings from a range of respected toy manufacturers and toy lines, and confidently manage the logistics of the product between the manufacturers and the Amazon warehouses. With a keen eye for toy trends and meticulous marketing and merchandising skills, I continually develop compelling product pages that drive customres to purchase from the Toy Bliss Amazon store.

Owner / General ManagerToy Bliss (Retail Locations) 2001 - 2009Portland, Oregon AreaAs Timeless Toys continued to grow, we moved from a 1,000 sq-ft to a 5,000 sq-ft location in Lake Oswego, a suburb of Portland, and changed the business name to Toy Bliss.In this role, I managed virtually all of the lease negotiations and then project managed from start to finish an extensive building remodel, including leadership over a team of vendors and contractors.By expanding retail space, Toy Bliss was able to carry a much larger variety of toys -- At peak, we worked with more than 120 different manufacturers and distributors from across the globe. Confidently managed day-to-day operations of a boutique retail business, including staffing, supervision, merchandising, inventory, pricing, marketing, purchasing, financial management, sales and community relations.The success of this location prompted expansion to a second location (2002) in Pioneer Place. This store was one of over 100 in an upscale, urban mall in downtown Portland.Working closely with mall management, I built out the store location, adhering to stringent merchandising, advertising and sales promotions guidelines. I also recruited, hired and trained a team of four managers and 16 sales associates.

Later built and managed a team of 6 who oversaw all online business operations.During this time, we also launched a second online store, through eBay, which catapulted sales and helped Toy Bliss continue growing its reputation as an exceptional boutique toy retailer.
