● Modernized infrastructure using Ruby to allow the service’s pipelines to be FullCD and remove a week of ongoing engineeringtime needed to deploy these resources.● Created an automated ticket tool using Python that detected failing hosts. This tool replaced the hosts automatically and broughtthe monthly tickets down from 3500 to single digits. An entire engineer’s worth of time per month.● Implemented an internal website, backed by AWS (Lambda) and Python, which allowed internal customers to calculate networkdemand and order hosts before the scaling ceiling. This eliminated customer impact due to network constraint and reduced aweek of ongoing manual work.● Built 10+ AWS regions for 4 low-level networking services while creating automation to ensure each build was faster thanbefore. Reduced build time from 1 month to 4 hours.● Migrated all services over to CloudWatch which resulted in faster log diving, automation based on logging events, and saved theservice in a large scale event by being in place.● ITAR / GovCloud compliance and one of only two members authorized to perform this work.
