What's a storyteller if they can't get their vision out on time, on budget, and on the same page as their client? Those are the three flags I dutifully carry on every project I get involved with. As a camera operator, producer, and editor I bring together the technical and artistic with the logistical and realistic and I refuse to compromise. From PBS and USTA in Orlando to The Weather Channel in Atlanta, I have experience with some of the country's most important organizations and they all seem to love me (or fake it very well). My introduction to media production technically started back in college once I was admitted into the academically competitive Radio-Television Production program at UCF; however, I like to think it started back when I was a kid. I was consistently hypnotized by the magic that was put into a great TV show or film. Now that I've had the chance to work in the field I've found out the hard way that it isn't magic but, in fact, an absurd amount of focus, dedication, and room temperature coffee. My time in media production is akin to learning how to swim in whitewater rapids; on one hand risky, dangerous, and filled with friends and family asking "why are you doing this to yourself? Please use our pool if you want to learn how to swim." But on the other hand it's fast, exciting, and necessary. This is why I know I'm here for the longterm because the initial bumps in the knees have only inspired me rather than intimidate me. I know my skills can only get more refined as I continue to keep solving problems creatively and efficiently. Love me or loathe me, someday you'll want to work with me.
