I was also working with Tenable to efficiently scan the environment for vulnerabilities and weaknesses. I was a member of the Herjavec Group team assigned to MGM Resorts International's Security Operations Support. I was responsible for the support of many applications including McAfee ePO, McAfee ESM, Proofpoint, Palo Alto firewalls, Juniper firewalls, and McAfee Web Gateways.I was specializing in Proofpoint and ESM administration.I used Proofpoint as the mail gateway, a threat prevention tool through their TAP and TRAP products, and as a DLP monitor. I was responsible for security related changes and troubleshooting.McAfee ESM was my primary tool. I was responsible for the continuous management of data sources as well as the integration of new data sources. During my time I cut down the inactive and non-responsive data sources to 0, all while adding data sources that increased the SIEM's efficacy and improved performance across all components.I assisted the team with Palo Alto firewall changes, implementing layer 7 firewall policies as we as performing updates via Panorama.
