Institute of Technology, Tyler left Vancouver to work as a sales representative at Vivint’s Calgary South office in Calgary, Alberta. His role was to harvest cliental and take them through the sales process from start to finish. This included coordinating the installation of the product, handling all paperwork and managing customer relationships after installation. Some of his achievements include:• Generated cold call door to door contact sales• Responsible for upwards of $54,000 in sales revenue over a 3 month period• Completed more than 144 hours of sales and motivation training• Learned how develop and handle sales cycle from start to finish.• Used public relations skills to communicate ideas and build value to prospects and clients

Park Solutions Inc has designed, constructed and maintained park throughout BC’s Lower Mainland for the past 30 years. With over 3 decades of experience, Park Solutions has grown to work closely with engineers, landscape architects, biologists and park rangers to achieve recreational and environmental sustainability. Knowledge gained though employment include: • Trail rehabilitation, heavy timber construction, prefabricated structures, bridges and boardwalks• Operations of 2.5 ton and 5.5 ton wide steel track Kubota excavators • Safe use of power and gas tools in exposed environments• Communication with government officials and general public• Management of crews to complete tasks in preserved manner • Adhered to strict guidelines and blueprints for operations• Providing safe working environments in over 20 parks though out the lower mainland

Vancouver offers world class parks, from prime downtown parks such as Stanley Park, to community centers, special amenities areas, small parks and garden beds. During the summers of 2008 to 2010, Tyler was employed by Vancouver Parks and Recreations. His role was to lead teams to complete tasks, deal in public relations and coordinate with management. Many of the tasks took place in densely populated locations and sometimes hazardous conditions.
