I started my personal freelance design identity in 2006 where I helped launch the brands for Dueling Dogs Brewing Co. and the Assyrian Arts Institute designing logos, websites, motion graphics and other marketing material. I have also designed for Enspira, Horizon Home Health Care and several other brands over the years. Recently after being laid off from my full time role with Merck/MilliporeSigma, they asked me to continue work as a freelancer to maintain and update the Cell Marque portfolio website and to continue the HistoHero campaign.

I joined the in-house marketing team at Cell Marque Antibodies where my experience in responsive web design lead the redesign of their website with over 300+ IVD products. I launched the HistoHero campaign where I brought to life colorful comic book inspired characters to represent various aspects of tissue diagnostics. I also created many educational print pieces and negotiated quotes with vendors. In 2015, Merck KGaA acquired Cell Marque and for the next several years my role expanded into the Tissue Diagnostics franchise and eventually all of Diagnostics and Regulated Materials where I supported team members from around the world. I supplied promotional print material, tradeshow booth graphics complete with 3D renders, web ads and email marketing, and continued the HistoHero campaign with a successful annual summer webinar series. I expanded my skills into video editing, 2D/3D animation, and character animation creating promotional and educational videos and motion graphics.

ApexCare offered in-home senior care services and care home referrals, while Careology taught new and existing administrators of residential senior care facilities. My work included the re-branding of both companies designing new logos and websites, as well as new brochures, blog, various marketing materials and giveaways, printed course material, PowerPoint presentations used for online classes, and many other projects.

Worked a short part-time job for the City of Roseville where I designed and laid out the 2009 Camps and Aquatic Recreation flip side guide.

Fiddyment Farms was my first graphic design job. I worked there for several years where I designed a new modern logo, expanded their product line with new product package designs and gift designs, social media graphics, and e-newsletter campaigns. I also redesigned their website and online store. In addition to Fiddyment Farms, I also created a new identity, website, and packaging for a new outlet as the company started to sell pistachios as bird treats called Polly Pajaro. I still design for Fiddyment Farms under my freelance identity when needed designing and preparing custom corporate holiday labels.

Worked in the photo lab at Longs Drugs as the photo lab supervisor. I was in charge of the photo lab department which had a 1-hour photo lab, sale of camera, film and electronic products, as well as video rentals. Duties for the 1-hour lab included processing of film, photo color correction, maintenance of the photo lab equipment, and ordering product.
