About Tyler Durman

Tyler Durman is a marketing leader whose work accelerated the growth of Austin-based B2B SaaS companies backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Shasta Ventures, and Chicago Ventures. From that experience, Tyler founded Ignition Growth Consulting in 2022 to help B2B SaaS companies implement growth marketing practices to scale customer acquisition and marketing operations. Tyler also co-founded Austin Growth Meetup to connect the local community of growth professionals in Austin.Prior to his latest venture, Tyler was responsible for all of growth marketing at data.world from its Series A through its Series C rounds, building and leading his team to achieve its goals. He also held a variety of roles in Austin SaaS companies including sales, operations, demand generation, and product marketing. Tyler graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Communication Studies from the Moody College of Communication and loved giving back to fellow Longhorns by serving as the Chair of the Young Alumni Committee at the Austin Chapter of Texas Exes.When not hard at work, Tyler loves playing guitar, searching for the next great breakfast taco in Austin, losing his voice at UT football games, going to rock shows, watching 80's action movies, perfecting his smoked brisket, and visiting friends across the country.
