As ventureLab’s first employee based in New York City, my primary focus has been to expand the ventureLab brand to facilitate additional deal flow, corporate partnerships, and later stage venture capital relationships. Prior to my role at ventureLab, I was a Venture Associate at Loeb.nyc, a New York-based startup lab and early-stage private investor founded by serial entrepreneur Michael Loeb. Mr. Loeb Co-Founded Priceline.com with Jay Walker in 1992 and has since founded several successful companies such as Synapse Group and ScriptRelief. My primary focus at Loeb.nyc was to conduct due diligence on potential investments and to create financial models to aid in key decisions made by portfolio companies. Before my career in venture capital, I spent much of my time focusing on public markets as an Analyst at the Orange Value Fund, a value-oriented hedge fund. While at the Orange Value Fund, I gained skills related to in-depth fundamental analysis and financial modeling.I graduated cum laude from Syracuse University’s Martin J. Whitman School of Management where I received degrees in Finance and Accounting. While at Syracuse, I was selected as a Chancellor’s Scholar as well as a Frankel Scholar. I was also a member of the Syracuse University Ski Race Team which allowed me to combine my love for skiing with my competitive nature.
