    As Project and Business Process Manager, I was asked to evaluate and make improvements to business processes for AQMs to increase lean management, to create an operations manual that could be used as a training tool and reference material and improve communications and processes between AQM's and other departments at TEC. As a Process Managers I ensured the efficiency of business operations and created and implement changes and improvements as needed. I generated documentation of existing processes and improvements, forecasted expected results of process changes, analyzed implemented changes and made further adjustments to workflow, schedules and other processes as required. I reported to upper-management, mainly the CEO, presented my findings and suggested improvements to incorporate change in the analyzed business processes. My Projects included:-Creating an AQM manual for training and reference- This was a 173 page book which layed out all processes for AQMs to follow. It explains how to do work, how to estimate work and what tools to use to execute that work. This manual speeds training time up by one week decreasing it to 1 week instruction 2 weeks hands on in the field. Previously the process could take up to one month, often more.-Creating a Common "language" between Billers and AQMs to help reduce the amount of confusion when invoicing work for customers.-Creating a system of abbreviations and definitions to make work input for our computerized system simpler and more efficient.-Creating a standardized way to take orders and record them for each AQM- This is a book with standard fields for information including Customer name, job name, type of work performed, etc. This will keep each employee recording information in the same way.

    As an Area Manager For my crews, I was in charge of solving my clients problems and selling them the solution, estimating work, scheduling of jobs, routing of crews, material allocation, erosion control strategies, crew management, working with city, county, state and nation enforcement to ensure all sites were in compliance. In the office, I coordinated supply shipments, kept in constant communication with sales, billing, and upper management to ensure proper completion and billing of jobs. In the field, I worked with our clients to get them the best customer service experience and job performance from my crews possible.I managed a total of 267 Sites as well as performing weekly maintenance on 20 of those sites working with all on site builders, foreman and officials every day to make sure work was completed in an accurate and timely manner. I oversaw a minimum of 3 Crews, maximum of 10 crews, of 3-4 men each. These crews installed and implemented Erosion Control BMPs per the erosion control plan on construction sites to comply with the Clean Water act in the State of Georgia. My area was From US 41 to I-20 East. Southeast Atlanta including Decatur and South Eastern Metro Atlanta Including (East to West) Jonesboro, Lovejoy, Hampton, Ellenwood, McDonough, Griffin, Jackson, Covington, Conyers, Lithonia. I worked with Municipalities (All cities named) , Home Builders (including DR Horton, Century Communities, Green River Builders, Builders Professional Group, LGI Homes) commercial builders and developers (including Strack Construction, Reeves Young, Premier General Contractors, McCoy Grading, Minerva)

The end goal is that students will walk away with a skill set that allows them to navigate situations found in the work place or in higher education.
