Teachers have the incredible opportunity and responsibility of touching the lives of each and every student that come through their classroom. As a professional educator, I take pride in helping my students find their passions, both in and out of the classroom. It is my desire that every student I teach shall walk away from my class with a better appreciation, curiosity, and understanding of the world around them.I see education as one of the most powerful tools one can learn to use. It is a tool that can help us break down barriers, pry open our imagination, and build a better world. However, this tool is one that must be continually sharpened through lifelong learning experiences. Each of these experiences can teach us something about ourselves or the world around us. It is my responsibility, and my honor, to show my students how to use these experiences to better themselves, and to continue their learning far beyond the classroom.
