Isolate and resolve operational setbacks, planning for contingencies and enabling construction to progress without roadblocks.Prepare accurate risk-aware job estimates for major projects including labour, equipment, material, subcontracts, and adaptive scheduling.Responsible for project resource management and schedule maintenance.Complete performance reporting against bid values for job task analysis, cost variance, forecasting future spend, and framing solutions to first and second-order schedule knock-on effects. Manage contractual change through Change Order Request creation, cost estimating, and monitoring the Work for out-of-scope tasks.Facilitate productivity and profitability enhancements for all project stakeholders by challenging the status quo to find practicable solutions to complex engineering challenges.Lead a diverse team of 14 direct reports.

• Resolved issues regarding mechanical and electrical problems on subway revenue and maintenance vehicles, using AutoCad and VBA.

• Lead a $650 000 design upgrade project for 97 of CPR's air dump cars. This project involved the complete revamping the original air systems within these cars for they were no longer deemed safe to operate.• Analyzed locomotive stall information and produced workable solutions to wintertime train stalls using Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic for Applications.

• Produced Human Machine Interface screens for pipeline control of oil, gas, water, and electricity using FactoryLink software.• Created a versatile SCADA reporting system involving Microsoft Excel with Visual Basic for Applications and Microsoft Sequel.
