I am an IT professional with experience in Microsoft technologies including Windows, Server, Office, Lync, Exchange, Data Protection Manager, and Hyper-V. I also have experience with Dell and HP hardware and services, and mobile ecosystems including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Blackberry.I am passionate about technology and the future of technology in the workplace. The fieldd of IT is rapidly changing into a people-centric setting where IT staff need to be able to empower people to use technology to their advantage to get work done how and when they want to do it. I believe I can leverage my skills in working with both the technology and the people to understand how they want to do work to help implement systems that will move towards and achieve that goal.Although I do not work in the field I consider myself very knowledgeable of social media and social trends. I think the evolving way in which people interact with each other though various social services has a direct impact and tie-in to IT work because many of those communication and interaction paradigm's translate both directly and indirectly to the workplace.Outside of work you can find me watching or talking about sports, mainly the Oilers, Eskimos, and Packers, but I am a fan of sports in general. I also claim to enjoy camping though I haven't been in years, and I love the city of Edmonton that I've been born and raised in. Lastly I am a passionate advocate for organ transplant and donation, especially in increasing awareness and the number of people who sign their donation card to become an organ donor.
