CurrentAt the elite level of any sport, the difference between 'good' and 'great' can often be found in the margins with fractions of a percent separating winners and losers. Through the use of traditional problem solving skills paired with the latest in data & sport science, I'm tasked with both identifying the limiting factors to athlete performance and identifying interventional support to move from 'good' to 'great'.Projects in this space include (but are not limited to) medical support at major competitions, talent identification, biomechanical support, and performance forecasting. There is extensive travel (~165 days a year), both domestic and international, in this role which requires the ability to work flexibly and autonomously.

I competed for the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals in cross-country as well as indoor and outdoor track and field. SVSU competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and is an NCAA Division II institution. While eligible, I competed in the distance events, which include races ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 meters. As an athlete I would frequently put in 20+ hours a week of training in addition to being a full time student. Some of my awards/accolades include the following:-Served as team a captain from 2010-14-Voted by teammates as team MVP and Most Dedicated Athlete for Cross-Country 2010-13-Voted by teammates as freshman of the year for cross-country in 2009-Finished 12th place at USATF Junior Nationals in the 10k 2010-NCAA Division II Midwest All-Region Cross Country Team 2012

Kids Run the Nation is a program founded by the Road Runner's Club of America that aims to combat childhood obesity through a comprehensive 10 week program aimed at teaching elementary aged kids the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
