The SAEM Academic Informatics Interest Group is comprised of members interested in emergency medicine informatics and work related to emergency department information technology. An integral member of the Customer Insights & Analytics team which provided guidance on executive level business strategy to stakeholders with an emphasis on accuracy, speed, and dependability:▪ Developed a predictive model in SPSS Modeler utilizing machine learning algorithms and complex SQL queries that identifies and ranks customers by their risk of churning, and launched this Churn Prevention Program on a nationwide scale to assist the sales team through direct integration with Salesforce.com▪ Directly reduced advertising costs by engineering suppression models utilizing CHAID analysis which identified customers most inclined to respond favorably to marketing materials▪ Conducted statistical tests (t-tests, ANOVA, Post-hoc, etc.) to help determine the most successful overall marketing strategy for a Fortune 500 company▪ Developed Marketing reports in Tableau to quickly offer insights to executives and uncover innovative strategies in a digestible and streamlined fashion ▪ Designed and implemented a Master repository within a SQL environment which incorporated the entirety of customer knowledge to facilitate more accurate and efficient analyses

Including the maintenance, creation, development, documentation, validation and production of all SAS programs/macros creating datasets, tables, figures and listings for clinical study reports. • Responsible for the creation, development and production of SAS programs creating datasets, tables, figures and listings written for regulatory submissions, exploratory analyses related to publications, Marketing, R&D support, and Manufacturing/Operations support. • Additional duties include statistical programming, data accuracy and quality checks for clinical study databases, and assistance when necessary with Data Management activities and preparation of statistical analysis plans and statistical reports. • Other duties are to clean and prepare data for analysis, assist scientific publications and presentations as well as conduct and interpret simple to complex statistical data analysis and modeling.
