Tyler Kobick is a licensed architect (CA, WV) and licensed contractor (CA, WV) with a focus in stereotomic construction, urbanism, custom, inventive fabrication, and ecological design. He holds two degrees in architecture, a B.S Arch from the University of Cincinnati, and a March from Dalhousie University, in Halifax, CA. He is currently principal a 21-person architecture and construction studio, Design Draw Build Inc, and lives in Oakland, CA. Design Draw Build also collaborates with a select group of designers and thinkers and their current clients include a wide mix of commercial and residential projects from the Gesundheit Institute for Patch Adams, The University of Vermont, and the Parkway Theater in Oakland CA, and the UC Theater in Berkeley, CA. DDB was also a designer for Bonnaroo music festival, Outside Lands, Phish Music Group and Superfly Productions. He has taught with a variety of non-profits, including various non-profits in El Salvador, University of San Francisco, Yestermorrow Design-Build School, UVM, and The Vermont Design Institute.
