As the Program Coordinator, for the past 3 summers I have worked 12-14 hours a day, 6 days a week and one of my primary responsibilities is to hand-create activity schedules for over 1800 campers across 51 cabins and 48 activities over the summer by myself.Another important role of mine is to do attendance for almost 500 campers every hour for 6 hours of the day. This task requires me to stay focused and organized as it is my job to know the location of all campers at any given time, while also making sure campers are having as much fun as possible, requiring me to keep track of all changes in their schedules.I schedule days off for 120 staff, making sure that people are happy in addition to keeping the program running, as well as making assignments for the staff for both the morning and the evening. I also coordinate with local organizations for offsite trips and activities, including scheduling hikes and coordinating with the kitchen and health center to ensure these trips leave safely.I also am responsible for keeping track of 12 vehicles that we use, including their mileage--making sure that they are being refueled, safety checked, and cleaned properly when given to staff for personal or work use.

Constant support and attention to teenagers that struggle with behaviors and mental health issues. The behaviors could be different every day, so flexibility and adaptability were a must.Maintaining a positive attitude and keeping positive relationships with the teenagers and coworkers despite heightened situations.Partake in trainings like SAFE and the CRMA course in order to assist in any way I could.Perform treatment logs on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis as well as shift notes to properly communicate from shift to shift.
