My passion is to provide the highest quality of care to my patients, as well as to advance the physical therapy profession in the state and national level. I am currently the President of the PT-PAC and a Director-at-Large Board Member at the APTA Colorado, where I advocate for the interests and rights of physical therapists and patients. I am also the Chair of the state Sunset Committee, where I prepare our Chapter and its members for the review of our Practice Act in 2024.

I was elected as the District Chair for Knoxville in September 2017. My goals for this position included growing engagement with current members at district events, as well as expanding our inclusion of PTAs.To suit these goals, I established a PTA Representative position within my Executive Team, to reach out to local PTA schools in our District. My team and I also organized and successfully executed an Ethics and Jurisprudence Course for providers in our district in March 2018.I resigned from this position as I returned to Colorado. However, this experience has encouraged me to resume this position at some level in Denver.

As Clinic Director, I was responsible for managing all clinical and non-clinical staff at our location. I was also tasked with establishing and maintaining relationships with physician groups and other referral sources, in order to grow our business. I used prior trending data and other operational metrics to assess what needs our clinic needed to fill, and how to estimate our clinic's growth. As a clinic, we were successful in growing the Maryville clinic from an average of 150 patient visits per week, to 190 visits per week in a 12-month period.I left this position as I had decided to return to Colorado. Currently, Benchmark Physical Therapy has no presence in Colorado, so I elected to resign in September 2018.

I was selected to take part in six months of courses on operational growth, collaboration, servant leadership, and developing as a leader within Benchmark. I worked with other leaders within the company to design and present on direct access and how to utilize it at the clinic level, which was presented at Benchmark's annual leadership conference of 500+ people.

I am currently a full-time physical therapist able to successfully organize and maintain a caseload of up to 20 patients daily, while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction. I perform specialized treatment in evidence-based care across the lifespan, and have an excellent ability to educate every patient on their condition, anatomy and expected outcomes based on thorough physical examination. I frequently contribute to education of clinical staff on local and federal legislative issues, with knowledge gained from several appointments with state and federal legislators. Also, I initiated an active effort to increase our clinical presence on social media, increasing by over 100 Twitter and Facebook followers

I acted as the chairman of the Legislative Affairs Committee within the Student Senate, and oversaw the activities of the committee. I was also responsible for the distribution of relevant legislative information to the Anschutz Medical Campus student body. I also assisted the Senate President in executive meetings and other duties, and presided over meetings if the President was unable to attend.
